Hopefully, this will be a weekly post on each Monday. Believe me, we do have a crazy life!
You know, it seems like I’m constantly on the computer trying to get caught up. It never happens, but I try. I’m behind as I write this. This week though Michael, Gracie and I have been swimming and working in the yard.
Well, I’ve still stayed on the computer but I’ve done the running for everyone. Gracie has had friend upon friend over. Sometimes the friends stay for days. Sometimes they just stop by for a swim. They are all great girls and they are all from Church. I don’t mind at all. I always thought that teen boys would eat you out of house and home. WELL, let me tell you- teenage girls can eat.
I’m not a cook, I don’t claim to be. I’m just not. Michael and Gracie will eat anything I do cook, but I won’t put anything in front of anyone else. I don’t want to embarrass myself. I cooked a Stouffers Ravioli family meal. I let them eat and when I went in to get me some, I barely had half a serving. It’s a good thing Michael was at work, because there was nothing for him! They ate it all.
Michael has cleaned all of the vehicles and cleaned out the garage. He’s also made me a little section in front of the house like me turtle rock garden so that I can have a doggie garden. I’m going to put two sharpei and a weenie dog. You know how much I love dogs, we do live in a zoo. He loves me so much and he knows that I’ve been wanting this. I’ll show you a picture of my turtle garden here.
I’m just waiting for my dogs to be painted. The lady does an awesome job. She’s the same lady who did my turtles. I chose the turtles because a turtle carries their home on their back. At the time, I had just moved into this house after my home had burned. It meant something to me.
Anyway, that is what has been happening in our crazy little life here! I’m still behind as always but Gracie and Michael keep me going. I love them!
