You know we live in a zoo, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We love them both. Today though, is national dog day.
“If a dog will not come to you after having looked you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience.” — Woodrow Wilson
I truly believe, if a dog doesn’t like you, there is something wrong with you. I really do. Here are pictures of my doggies (and we call them Gracie’s siblings).
This is BigFoot. He was Dons dog (Gracie’s Dad). He is truly a man’s dog. After Don passed away, BigFoot went thru a terrible grieving process. After I married Michael, BigFoot took up with him instantly and has become his dog. BigFoot is 17 and weight over 70 pounds! What a basset hound, huh? We rescued BigFoot from the local animal farm.
This is Katrina and she is Gracie’s baby. Gracie LOVES her so much and is with her continuously when she is home. I just can’t express how much Katrina means to Gracie. Katrina is a mini-weenie dog that we rescued from Hurricane Katrina and she weighs 21 pounds. I know, she is over weight. She doesn’t diet well.
This is Walter. He is MY baby and is a Shar-pei. I dearly love him. He is super protective and will not allow ANY men in the house unless Michael is home. He lays at my feet until Michael gets home and then he “rests”, he knows that Michael is going to protect me when he is home.
Anyway, that is a glimpse into our zoo. We love them all.
