It’s time again for say it again Sunday, My Daughter – The Entrepreneur was first published 5-25-12. Gracie’s still working hard and very busy. She’s never still, I wish I had her energy. She does keep me on my toes.
Gracie Sparks- Entrepreneur- Age 10 going on 40
My little girl is quite the business person. She could sell you anything, I mean anything. She helped my husband with his flea market booth before he died and wanted to keep it up afterward. I really didn’t want to, but I did because I thought it would keep her busy. What I didn’t know is how busy it would keep me and how good Gracie actually was at “selling”.
Gracie has grown Sparky’s Sparkles into 2 flea market booths instead of just the one that we started out with. She sells jewelry to the teachers at school. She sells it online (facebook), to friends, at craft fairs. Where ever! It doesn’t matter. She’ll sell it.
She is now making things to sell. She is making jewelry. She’s making the prettiest rings, I was on the receiving end of one of these for Mother’s Day. Otherwise she would have me pay (no kidding). She is making hair bows out the wazoo! She is really good at those. They are so pretty! Now the little rascal is making flip flops. I LOVE them! Check these out.
They are really cuter than the pictures show. I’m so proud of my little girl! She tithes off from her earnings and she’s good at saving her money (until she see’s something she JUST HAS TO HAVE).
I just had to brag a little- You know this is Sonya’s Happenings… and Gracie is my Happenings…
