I absolutely love my iPhone and to be truthful, I’d die without my iTunes. That’s the honest to goodness truth. I usually buy my iTunes from eBaby or at Walmart and keep my account full. When it gets low, I refill it with a new card. That way I can always buy a song without it affecting my checking account.
Well, this time, I bought my $50 iTunes card from the Apple website itself. First off, I never received the e-mail to redeem the code. To resolve the issue, I resorted to Apple chat. That took forever and didn’t time that itself. In the end, they sent me to Apple by phone. It took me FOREVER to get in line for an actual operator. Then it took five minutes to get THAT operator. She sent me to a SPECIAL operator. Do you know how long this took, well over thirty five minutes of hold time listening to PRINCE singing to KISS.
I was then put on hold for a SENIOR ADVISER. I have been on hold for OVER forty minutes waiting on this SPECIALIST. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I have spent my whole Saturday on hold.
I have listened to the most HORRID songs you can think of today. I can’t believe kids actually listen to this. I mean, it is 12:31 and I have been on hold since 11 am. This is awful. Now it is some Jamaican stuff. Just give me the SPECIALIST and get this over with. THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME AFTER ONE HOUR AND THIRTY FIVE MINUTES. I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK AND START THIS PROCESS BACK.
Now, get this. I’ve been on the phone with 3 different customer service reps this call for a total of thirty three minutes and now I’m on hold for a SPECIALIST again. I have been on the phone with these SO CALLED customer service reps for over two hours!
They have decided that I need to go back to the apple website, when the apple website ent me to the customer service call center. Apparently NO ONE at Apple knows what they are doing. AFTER FIFTY FIVE MINUTES, I HAVE MY $50 IUNES IN MY ACCOUNT.
I’m extremely disappointed in the service I received from Apple. Their customer service is awful. I highly recommend you buy your cards at Walmart or on eBay. I will NEVER buy from Apple itself again and I suggest you don’t either.
