I have made five phone calls to Burger King customer service today (1-866-394-2493). It concerned a virtual gift card that I earned from a coupon app. Let me tell, don’t choose Burger King as your reward.
I have asked each time that I called to talk to a customer service manager. Guess how many times I was allowed to talk to two- TWO times and the second time after he had me on hold for about 5 minutes, he hung up on me. The snarky customer service agents told me to download their worthless app and it would allow me to add my virtual gift card and my Paragould Burger would be able just to scan it.
You see, the problem is we seem to be backwood in Paragould and they can’t type any kind of gift card in. I really feel sorry for those Burger King employees that don’t know how to punch buttons. I mean, I have used virtual gift cards at Bath and Body Works and tons of other places. I guess, Bath and Body Works employees just make more money. I just don’t know. Honestly though, I feel the most pain for those snarky little customer service people. They have to answer a phone and talk to people. Those people have it rough.
The total amount of time I spent on the phone with Burger King today was 55 minutes and I told them they would lose my business. They WERE our favorite fast food restaurant and we spent about $40 a week there. So, that’s about $160 a month. All over a $10 gift card.
I’m telling you, there customer service is not worth dealing with AND they do NOT know how to treat customers. I dearly hope others have a more positive experience.
