The Skin Regime- Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin Review And Giveaway!

I was lucky enough to be sent The Skin Regime- Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin Book and a sample peel to try out a couple of weeks ago. I would have had this review up sooner, but I was bit by the flu bug and have been down for the count for over a week. I didn’t even feel like reading Dana’s informative book. I felt so bad! I’m back to the land of the living now though and it’s time to post this review and get a wonderful giveaway going.

The Skin Regime- Boot Camp For Beautiful Skin by Dana Ramos is one of the most informative books I’ve read. As women, we spend most of our lives reading every magazine and book we can trying to find the “magic” skin care system to help look our best. Well, companies are out to make money. That’s not news to any of us. They are always trying to sell us on their new secret formula. Well, their new secret formula are usually just a passing fad. We spend a ton of money each year looking for that one great product to help us achieve natural, healthy skin. Dana breaks down all the information in this book for us. It is a very simple read. I read it quickly and I have a ‘tween that is constantly wanting me to do something (which I don’t mind at all), I love my little girl.

Dana breaks it down from head to toe. I really mean head to toe, she even talks about cleaning your belly button. These are basic skin care routines that your Mom just may not have shared with you. She talks about the need for sunblock and explains how to pick out the best ones for your skin. Dana also writes about make-up. I’m telling you ladies- she covers it all!

Now, as I told you before, I was sent a sample peel to try and I’m very thankful. Dana outlines exactly what to do prior to using the peel. She also explains how to use the peel and what to do after the peel. She doesn’t leave you hanging in any way at all. I don’t know how to exactly explain how my skin felt after the peel, but it felt “clean and wiped away.” Like a layer had been lifted up. It felt good and I’m very pleased. Dana has skin peel companies listed on her website, the The Skin Regime. You’ll be led in the right direction to pick out just the right one for your skin type.

You know how I like to keep up with all the happenings… so you can follow The Skin Regime on facebook, like them on twitter, sign up for their newsletter and subscribe to them on Youtube.

Dana has generously offered 2 of Sonya’s Happenings… The Skin Regime- Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin Book, a t-shirt and a sample peel. This is open world wide! How great is that! This is a rafflecopter giveaway, so please give the form time to load.
